    Wart and Corn Removal

Warts and corns are common skin conditions that can cause discomfort and cosmetic concerns, but they have distinct causes and characteristics. Warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) and appear as small, rough growths on the skin, often on the hands and feet. They can spread through direct contact with an infected person or surface. Corns, on the other hand, are thickened areas of skin that develop in response to repeated pressure or friction, usually on the feet or toes.

They are often hard, yellowish, and can be painful when pressed. Both conditions can persist for extended periods if left untreated.

Treatment for skin infections depends on the type of pathogen involved. Bacterial infections are usually treated with antibiotics, either topical or oral, to eradicate the infection and reduce symptoms. Antiviral medications are prescribed for viral infections to control outbreaks and alleviate discomfort. Antifungal treatments, available in topical or oral forms, are used to treat fungal infections, often requiring several weeks to months of therapy. For parasitic infestations, antiparasitic medications are applied to the skin or taken orally to eliminate the parasites.
